St. Francis Welcomes Professor Nicole Nuzzo
Dean Carole J. Buckner welcomed attorney Nicole Nuzzo to the St. Francis School of Law faculty. Prof. Nuzzo will be teaching Community Property. She is a senior associate attorney with the law firm of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP in Newport Beach, California where she works on all aspects of complex and high net-worth family law cases from inception through trial or settlement.
Prof. Nuzzo completed the National Institute of Trial Advocacy Family Law Program, and the California Family Law Report Advanced Family Law Course. She was named as one of the Top 10 Family Law Attorneys in California by the American Institute of Legal Counsel in 2017. She has passed the California State Bar’s Family Law Specialist Examination and her application for certification as a Family Law Specialist is pending.
Prof. Nuzzo is a member of California State Bar’s Family Law Section, and is also a member of the Orange County Bar’s Family Law Section and Professionalism and Ethics Committee. She is also a member of Provisors, a group of professional trusted advisors dedicated to providing clients with multi-disciplinary solutions.
Prof. Nuzzo graduated Cum Laude with her J.D. degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with Honors, from the State University of New York College at Oneonta. She is admitted to the practice of law in California.
