Ms. Huff is a native Southern Californian who has devoted herself to the senior community for most of her life. Born in Long Beach, California, Amy attended U.C. San Diego, graduating cum laude with a political science major and religious studies minor. She then attended Santa Clara University School of Law in the Bay Area.

Having enjoyed beloved grandparents, Amy knew early on she was interested in the burgeoning practice of Elder Law. She interned at Legal Aid of San Jose, the County Counsel’s Office in Santa Ana, and with large and small estate planning and elder law firms. In 2024, Amy opened a private practice in Laguna Woods, California at the Elder Law Center offices. For over fifteen years, she continued to donate her time as a Pro Bono attorney at local senior centers and as a speaker at Chapman, Whittier and Western State Law Schools. During the pandemic, Amy served as a Long-Term Care Ombudsman with the Council on Aging and was named one of Orange County’s 125 “Most Influential People” of 2023 by the Orange County Register.

Ms. Huff is currently a Senior Associate Estate Planning Attorney at The Law Office of Cheryl L. Walsh. Amy has served on the Board of both the Elder Law and Trusts and Estates sections of the Orange County Bar Association and is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).

In her free time, Amy enjoys travelling to new countries with her husband and college-aged children and finding quiet moments to read with her dogs.
