Ryann Jorban

Ryann Jorban presently serves as the Deputy in Charge of two units in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Consumer Protection Division: the Economic Justice and Notario Fraud Unit which focuses on the prosecution of fraud against our most vulnerable consumers and the Labor Justice Unit focusing on the systematic theft of wages and labor exploitation of the most vulnerable workers in Los Angeles County.  Ms. Jorban joined the LA County District Attorney’s Office in 1998 after graduating from University of Michigan Law School.  She has spent most of her time in the office prosecuting crimes against the most vulnerable members of our society, including immigrants, children, the elderly, people with physical and developmental disabilities, and those experiencing domestic violence.  In her 30 years of teaching, Ms. Jorban has taught students from pre-school to law school as well as frequently providing professional training for attorneys, law enforcement, government agencies, and non-profits.
