View our full curriculum here.
As you complete your coursework, you learn the core competencies, explore your strengths, and build professional legal skills in areas such as drafting legal documents, legal research, and writing, negotiation, counseling and fact investigation, all under the supervision of professors who have hands-on experience in the subjects they teach. They know what it takes to succeed in the competitive legal landscape and the fast-moving business world.
Rather than focus on theory, you learn how to tackle difficult legal issues with a goal of obtaining real results for clients. When you successfully complete the St. Francis J.D. program, you are eligible to sit for the Bar Examination in the State of California, assuming all other eligibility requirements imposed by the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California are met. Plus, you’ll have the legal knowledge and practical professional skills you need to hit the ground running.
