Professor Laura Jacobus obtained an exclusive interview with Hui Chen, a Department of Justice (DOJ) expert consultant on corporate compliance and Andrew Weissmann, Chief of the DOJ’s Criminal Division Fraud Section, regarding the evolving nature of the expanding field of corporate compliance as businesses become increasingly global.
Chen is involved in all DOJ cases with a corporate compliance element including but not limited to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Chen believes that corporate compliance involves the entire company, but starts with leadership and key stakeholders.
Prof. Jacobus has developed and teaches the corporate compliance course for St. Francis School of Law in its online Juris Doctor Program.
