Dean Carole J. Buckner is pleased to announce the publication of a new article by St. Francis School of Law Professor Aaron Gershonowitz in the Environmental Claims Journal. The article discusses recent Supreme Court decisions, including United States vs. Atlantic Research Corp., and other relevant case law, regarding whether a claimant in a contribution action under CERCLA (the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act), needs to prove that costs were incurred consistent with the National Contingency Plan. Prof. Gershonowitz has developed the Administrative Law course for St. Francis School of Law and has taught torts at the first year level.
